Warlock, Omni-chain MEV liquidation engine, Raised $8M in a Seed Funding Round Led by Polychain

Warlock has raised $8 million in a seed funding round to develop infrastructure aimed at reducing the impact of maximal extractable value (MEV) in blockchain transactions. Polychain led the round, with participation from Greenfield Capital, TRGC, Recursive Capital, Symbolic VC, and Ambush Capital. The funding will be allocated toward advancing execution mechanisms designed to mitigate transaction manipulation and inefficiencies within decentralized finance (DeFi).

MEV has been a long-standing issue in blockchain networks, where certain actors exploit transaction ordering to gain financial advantages through front-running, sandwich attacks, and reordering transactions. Warlock is working on solutions to address these practices by refining execution-layer processes, aiming to create a more predictable and structured transaction environment. The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate development and expand the team’s technical capabilities.

In addition to institutional backing, Warlock has received support from individual investors, including figures from the blockchain and cryptography sectors. The company has yet to disclose specifics about its implementation strategy but is expected to provide further details as its development progresses.
