Together AI has closed a $305 million Series B funding round, with General Catalyst leading the investment and Prosperity7 serving as co-lead. The round included participation from Salesforce Ventures, DAMAC Capital, NVIDIA, Kleiner Perkins, March Capital, Emergence Capital, Lux Capital, SE Ventures, Greycroft, Coatue, Definition, Cadenza Ventures, Long Journey Ventures, Brave Capital, Scott Banister, SK Telecom, and John Chambers. The capital will be used to expand the company’s AI Acceleration Cloud, which provides infrastructure for enterprises and developers working with AI models.
Together AI’s platform is utilized by over 450,000 AI developers, startups, and large enterprises, including Salesforce, Zoom, SK Telecom, Hedra, Cognition, Zomato, Krea, Cartesia, and The Washington Post. It offers AI model training, fine-tuning, and inference solutions, supporting open-source models such as DeepSeek-R1 and Llama. The company plans to scale operations with the deployment of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, increasing its capacity for large-scale AI workloads.
To support this expansion, Together AI has secured 200 MW of power capacity and is deploying GPU clusters in multiple North American data centers. The company has also partnered with Hypertec to develop a 36,000-unit NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 GPU cluster. Research efforts remain a priority, with advancements such as FlashAttention-3, quantization techniques, and the Together Kernel Collection improving model training efficiency and computational performance.
