Spexi has finalized an $11.5 million Series A funding round. Blockchange Ventures led the investment, which is set to accelerate the company's global operations and solidify its position in the geospatial technology market. Spexi’s drone-based network delivers standardized, ultra-high-resolution imagery, offering a modern alternative to traditional satellite and airplane-based methods.
By addressing the inefficiencies of existing Earth imagery systems, Spexi provides detailed aerial data at a significantly reduced cost. Its scalable platform supports real-time applications in infrastructure monitoring, disaster response, and urban planning. The company’s use of blockchain technology ensures the integrity of collected images while enabling pilots to participate through its "Fly to Earn" model. To date, over 50,000 drone missions have been completed across four countries, with imagery captured from more than 140 cities and 1.2 million acres.
The funding will help Spexi expand its reach and continue developing high-resolution geospatial solutions.
