Soccerverse, co-founded by ex-Soccer Manager CEO Andrew Gore alongside blockchain gaming trailblazers Andrew Colosimo and Daniel Kraft, aims to create a player-owned and player-led economy, setting it apart from traditional gaming models.

The newly secured funds are earmarked for optimizing the game ahead of its scheduled Q4 2024 launch and accelerating its growth trajectory post-launch.

Andy Gore, the CEO of Soccerverse, expressed his excitement about collaborating with Square Enix, a globally recognized gaming company. He believes that this partnership and the investment they've received will enable them to enhance their game's quality and expand their reach to a worldwide audience.

Hideaki Uehara, the General Manager of Investment & Business Development at Square Enix, highlighted Soccerverse's innovative and unique use of blockchain features in the gaming genre. He conveyed his eagerness to continue their association with Soccerverse, now from the viewpoint of both investors and fans.

Sir Ian Livingstone, a General Partner at Hiro Capital, shared his personal experience with football management games. He confessed to having spent countless hours playing such games over the years. He admitted to having taken a break, but believes Soccerverse will inspire him to play again. He finds the social layer and the player investment dynamic to be intriguing new features. He is excited to see Manchester City achieve new heights.
