Silencio Network, a decentralized platform for real-time noise intelligence, has completed a $2.5 million Seed funding round. Blockchange Ventures led the round, with additional participation from Borderless Capital, Master Ventures, Blockchain Founders Fund, Prosper GmbH & Co. KG, and Advanced Blockchain AG. This follows a $1 million raise earlier this year, solidifying Silencio's position as the first fully on-chain DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) project operating on peaq, a blockchain tailored for the Machine Economy.
The platform utilizes smartphones as sensors to gather hyper-local noise data, providing actionable insights for industries like urban planning, real estate, and hospitality. Since migrating to peaq on December 9, 2024, Silencio has processed over 275,000 on-chain transactions and onboarded 16,500 unique wallets. The network's global reach is underscored by its 410,000+ active users in 180 countries, with 100,000+ noise measurements recorded daily.
