Privasea has secured $15 million in Series A funding to support the further development of its DeepSea AI Network. The round was led by GSR, Amber, and Echo, with additional backing from Binance Labs, OKX Ventures, Gate Labs, and Laser Digital. The funding will enable Privasea to advance its platform, focusing on the launch of its mainnet and the integration of secure AI computations for encrypted data.
The DeepSea AI Network utilizes Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) in combination with machine learning to facilitate deep learning inference on encrypted data. This technology allows for secure computations without compromising the confidentiality or performance of the data. Privasea's goal is to expand its offering to include intelligent agent-based solutions, aiming to strengthen privacy and efficiency in sectors such as finance, healthcare, and smart automation.
With the launch of its testnet beta in early January 2025 and the mainnet release planned for Q1, Privasea is positioning itself to lead in AI-driven privacy solutions. The company's ongoing efforts will focus on bridging privacy-preserving technologies with both Web2 and Web3 ecosystems. The recent fundraising will help further these initiatives, including the planned Genesis release on January 27, 2025.
