Orochi Network has announced the completion of its funding round, securing $12 million through a combination of seed funding and grants. The investment will support the development of its Verifiable Data Infrastructure, a system designed to enhance data integrity and privacy within the Web3 ecosystem. Investors in the round include Presto Labs, Smape Capital, Anti Capital, Maxx Capital, Bolts Capital, AZA Ventures, and Connectico, while grants were provided by the Ethereum Foundation, Mina Protocol, Web3 Foundation, and BNB Chain.
Orochi Network focuses on addressing the challenges associated with data authenticity and security in decentralized environments. Its technology stack includes ZK-data-rollups, Verifiable Data Pipelines, Hybrid aBFT Consensus, and Merkle DAG structures, aiming to ensure cryptographic verifiability and interoperability across multiple blockchain ecosystems. These solutions eliminate reliance on centralized data oracles, mitigating potential vulnerabilities and enhancing trust in Web3 applications.
The company has established over 80 partnerships with blockchain projects, enterprises, and decentralized applications, including Nexus Labs, Mina Protocol, Lumia, Aligned Layer, 0G Foundation, and Base. Additionally, its recent Airdrop Arcade event on Bybit Web3 attracted more than 2.25 million participants, reflecting growing engagement with its ecosystem. With this funding, Orochi Network plans to scale its infrastructure, advance research initiatives, and expand its role in Web3 development.
