Movement Labs, a web3 company and key contributor to the Movement Network, has revealed the results of its eagerly awaited “Battle of Olympus” hackathon. The two-month event drew an impressive 2,100 project submissions from developers around the globe, with 85 outstanding projects making it to the final round. This strong participation highlights the increasing interest in Move-based blockchain technology and its potential to transform the future of decentralized applications.
The Battle of Olympus hackathon showcased 10 exceptional projects across six key categories, each highlighting innovative uses of Move-based technology:

Gasyard: A cross-network gas optimization protocol that streamlines DeFi transactions and improves user experience.
PicWe: An omni-chain liquidity infrastructure that facilitates seamless asset transfers within the Movement ecosystem.

RNDM: An AI-driven modular liquidity solution that could revolutionize automated market-making in DeFi.
SocialFi
Podium: A Web3 social audio platform that enables community-moderated discussions, bridging social media and blockchain.
Movewiffrens (MWFs): A decentralized social media platform that reimagines online interactions with blockchain-based identity and content ownership.
NFTs/GameFi
Seekers Alliance: A skill-based trading card game with innovative NFT mechanics, showcasing advanced smart contract capabilities on Movement.
Simemes: A meme-powered social gaming platform that blends viral internet culture with blockchain gaming.
Infrastructure
Movide: An advanced online IDE for Move, accelerating development on the Movement network.
Scaffold Move: A comprehensive toolkit for building dapps, lowering barriers to entry for developers in the Movement ecosystem.
Winners of the Battle of Olympus will receive significant support, reflecting Movement Labs’ commitment to fostering blockchain innovation. This includes grants of up to $100,000 from the Movement Foundation, exclusive access to the Move Collective accelerator program, introductions to top-tier venture capital firms, ongoing technical support, resources, expert mentorship, eligibility for the MoveDrop program, and a sponsored trip to Devcon 2024 in Thailand, courtesy of 280 Capital.
