Olas, a project that has integrated AI agents into the blockchain space since 2021, announced the successful completion of a $13.8 million funding round, with 1kx leading the investment. The platform has seen substantial growth, with over 700,000 transactions processed each month and a transaction volume that exceeds 3.5 million to date. Olas’ AI agents, which facilitate applications across decentralized finance (DeFi), prediction markets, and influencer-driven use cases, are seeing consistent adoption, especially in agent-to-agent transactions.
The funding follows a period of rapid expansion for Olas, which has seen daily agent activity rise significantly, bolstered by the introduction of technological innovations such as the Olas Stack, Protocol, and Staking features. These developments, powered by the Proof of Active Agent mechanism, continue to drive the growth of Olas’ platform. As part of its ongoing evolution, the company unveiled Pearl, a new desktop application designed to serve as an “agent app store.” This platform will allow users to easily deploy and manage their own AI agents, with a range of use cases available from influencer management to DeFi applications.
In addition to Pearl, Olas is launching the Olas Accelerator, a program offering grants and rewards to developers creating AI agents for the platform. With a prize pool of $1 million and OLAS token incentives, the initiative seeks to encourage further innovation within the Olas ecosystem and expand its reach in the AI-driven crypto sector.
