The Web3 creator platform Oh has raised $4.5 million in a seed funding round that was oversubscribed. Investors backing the round include Tangent, Big Brain Holdings, Kosmos Ventures, Tagus Capital, and Bodhi Ventures. The funds will be allocated toward scaling the platform’s AI-based digital influencers, referred to as "superModels," which are designed to generate revenue for creators.
Oh’s main offering, OhChat, enables the creation of AI-powered “digital twins” that allow content creators to engage with their audiences in novel ways. The platform has attracted users in 174 countries and reported nearly 100,000 sign-ups to date. According to the company, these AI agents can independently grow their social media presence, interact with followers, and adapt their personalities based on ongoing user interactions. Some of these agents are already generating monthly revenues exceeding $10,000.
Collaborations with high-profile personalities, including Carmen Electra, Rio Sage, and Kaili Thorne, have expanded the reach of Oh’s AI agents. The company is also preparing for the release of its utility token in the first quarter of 2025. The token, set to launch on the Solana blockchain, will offer staking rewards and enable fractional ownership of AI agents, allowing users to share in their financial success.
