The company, which was established earlier this year, started its fundraising efforts in April and concluded its seed round in June. Karan Sirdesai, a co-founder of Mira and former Accel investor, shared this information with The Block but chose not to disclose details about the round's structure, valuation, or whether board seats were offered to investors.
Sidhartha Doddipalli, another co-founder of Mira, had previously co-founded Stader Labs, a platform for crypto liquid staking, and served as its chief technology officer. Mira's mission is to create a decentralized AI infrastructure platform that enables developers to build AI-native apps swiftly. According to Sirdesai, the rapid advancement of AI is leaving average developers behind due to the lack of adequate infrastructure to utilize AI.
Mira's AI infrastructure comprises a library of workflows or a toolkit with pre-set instructions that make AI app development easier. These workflows are created and maintained by a community of developers who can earn from their contributions.
Sirdesai emphasized that Mira's platform promotes individual ownership of AI workflows and ensures transparent attribution and settlement for value flows in the network. This transparency allows every stakeholder to understand what they are paying for and how they are earning from it. Unlike traditional web2 marketplaces, Mira's platform fosters a clear understanding of value exchange among its users.
