MANSA has closed a $10 million funding round aimed at addressing liquidity constraints in cross-border payments. Tether led the pre-seed round with $3 million, with additional backing from Polymorphic Capital, Faculty Group, Octerra Capital, and Trive Digital. An additional $7 million in liquidity funding came from corporate investors, quantitative funds, and alternative investment firms. The funding will support MANSA’s expansion into Latin America and Southeast Asia while scaling its stablecoin-based liquidity infrastructure.
The company, launched in August 2024, has developed partnerships with payment providers in Africa, Asia, and South America. MANSA’s stablecoin-driven approach is designed to minimize settlement delays and transaction costs in cross-border transfers. Since its launch, the company has processed $27 million in transaction volume, with on-chain transactions reaching $11 million in January 2025 alone, reflecting a substantial increase from previous months.
