The funding round also saw participation from co-investors Future Africa, Magic Fund, TCVP, and the Stanford GSB Fund, alongside angel investors Gbenga Oyebode, Jeremy Johnson, and Andrew Alli. The investment is set to fuel Juicyway’s efforts to simplify cross-border transactions, enabling smooth and efficient financial operations for businesses and individuals across Africa.
Juicyway aims to tackle significant barriers in Africa’s financial systems, including limited foreign currency access, high remittance costs, and fragmented liquidity. Its platform introduces an orchestrated liquidity model that connects supply and demand in real time, reducing transaction delays and costs. The company incorporates stablecoins, crypto wallets, and real-time matching engines to create an accessible and transparent financial ecosystem. With over $1.3 billion in transaction volume during its stealth phase, Juicyway has demonstrated its capability to scale while addressing systemic inefficiencies in the market.
Looking ahead, Juicyway plans to enhance intra-African currency liquidity and expand its reach into high-demand trade corridors. Its strategic roadmap includes innovations like AI-driven orchestration and scalable APIs for fiat and crypto disbursements. By fostering financial inclusion and empowering African markets, Juicyway aims to create a globally competitive financial network while preserving local monetary sovereignty.
