GEODNET Foundation has announced an $8 million strategic funding round led by Multicoin Capital, with additional backing from ParaFi and DACM. This latest investment brings the total financing for the network to $15 million. The foundation intends to use the funding to expand its real-time kinematic (RTK) network, which enhances satellite-based positioning data to provide centimeter-level accuracy. The technology plays a critical role in autonomous systems, including humanoid robots, drones, and industrial vehicles.
GEODNET has built a global RTK infrastructure with more than 13,500 user-deployed reference stations operating in over 4,377 cities across 142 countries. These stations process signals from major satellite navigation systems such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, delivering precision location data to industries that rely on high-accuracy positioning. The network serves applications in logistics, agriculture, and robotics, with customers ranging from government agencies to private enterprises.
Over the past year, GEODNET has reported a 400% increase in on-chain annual recurring revenue, reflecting the growing adoption of its services. The foundation is focusing on partnerships with manufacturers of robotic dogs and humanoid robots, aiming to extend the technology’s reach in advanced automation.
