Animoca Brands, recognized for its commitment to digital property rights in gaming and the metaverse, announced a partnership with GEODNET, a leading decentralized Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) network. This collaboration aims to advance mixed-reality gaming experiences and incorporate sophisticated location technology into consumer applications. As part of the partnership, Animoca Brands has also invested in GEODNET to facilitate its expansion within the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) community, promoting innovative solutions that integrate the physical and digital realms.
The partnership will see GEODNET collaborating with Mocaverse, Animoca Brands’ flagship consumer network, to enhance network development and investigate precise location integration across various applications. Mocaverse, designed with an interoperable infrastructure layer, aims to provide seamless experiences through its Account, Identity, Reputation, and PointFi systems. This initiative is expected to empower developers to create immersive mixed-reality applications that effectively merge digital content with real-world interactions, utilizing GEODNET’s precise location capabilities.

The partnership is anticipated to accelerate the integration of blockchain technology with real-world applications, enhancing user engagement in the evolving Web3 landscape.
