FastLane Labs has raised $6 million in a seed funding round led by Figment Capital and dba. The company is developing a liquid staking solution designed specifically for Monad, a blockchain optimized for low-latency execution and high-throughput transactions. The funding will be used to build infrastructure that enhances staking efficiency and MEV-powered applications, aiming to improve network participation and yield generation.
The company’s development roadmap includes the introduction of shMONAD, a liquid staking token that allows users to stake assets while maintaining liquidity. In addition, FastLane Labs is working on Atlas, an application-specific sequencing solution designed to optimize transaction ordering.
Other planned releases include an MEV Validator Client that directs MEV strategies toward yield generation, a Task Manager for automated smart contract execution, and Validator Vaults intended to strengthen staking security and reward distribution. By leveraging Monad’s architecture, FastLane Labs aims to minimize reliance on external infrastructure and reduce inefficiencies in transaction settlement.
