Solana-based creator engagement platform DRiP has secured $8 million in seed funding, with NFX, Coinbase Ventures, and Progression (a fund established by former TikTok executives) leading the round.
DRiP’s pre-seed lead Placeholder, 6th Man Ventures, and over 30 angel investors also contributed. The valuation and structure of the funding round were not disclosed. The new funds will be used to speed up creator onboarding, launch a consumer-facing mobile app, enhance creator tools and platform features, and boost marketing efforts to attract new users.

DRiP initially aimed to release its mobile app for Android and iOS in July, featuring a built-in wallet. However, the actual release date depends on the respective app stores, as per co-founder Vibhu Norby.
