As part of the agreement, USV has joined Daylight’s board, according to Daylight co-founder Kyle McCollom. Daylight started raising funds for the seed round in June and completed it in July. The round was structured as equity priced with token warrants, though McCollom did not disclose the company’s valuation.

This seed round brings Daylight’s total funding to $9 million, following a $3 million pre-seed round in November 2022.
