Cygnus has raised $20 million in a pre-seed funding round, backed by investors including Manifold Trading, OKX Ventures, Mirana, Optimism Retro Funding, and CL207. The funding will support the platform’s expansion and development as it integrates blockchain technology with digital interactions.


The project introduces a blockchain-based social media framework designed to incorporate Web3 functionalities within a decentralized application layer. Cygnus aims to provide tools for content monetization, digital asset management, and financial participation, bridging blockchain technology with mainstream social engagement. The platform seeks to create an alternative to traditional social media while facilitating broader adoption of blockchain-powered applications.
