Brickken, a platform specializing in tokenizing real-world assets (RWA), announced the completion of its $2.5 million seed funding round on January 15. The funding was backed by Psalion, SNZ Capital, Ergodic Fund, Blue Bay Ventures, Mocha, and Hodl Ventures. The recent investment brings Brickken's valuation to over $22.5 million and supports its ambition to expand operations across Europe.
Since its launch in March 2023, Brickken has tokenized more than $250 million worth of assets spanning 14 countries. The company plans to allocate the new capital toward enhancing its platform by integrating enterprise-grade features such as APIs, white-label solutions, and AI-based tools. The platform also serves as the official tokenization partner for Binance’s BNB Chain, further strengthening its position in the blockchain ecosystem.
The broader adoption of tokenization technology continues to attract attention, with analysts projecting substantial growth for the sector. The market size of tokenized real-world assets is forecasted to reach between $4 trillion and $30 trillion by 2030. Brickken operates within established legal frameworks, such as corporate and financial regulations, which govern the tokenization of securities. While Europe’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) offers a comprehensive regulatory framework for the crypto industry, it has limited applicability to tokenized securities, as noted by Brickken’s leadership.
