Bluefin, a decentralized trading platform operating on Sui Network, has raised $17 million from a group of major venture firms and trading companies. Investors in this round include Polychain, Brevan Howard, SIG, Tower Research, and Wintermute. The platform, which facilitates both perpetual and spot trading, has processed more than $48 billion in cumulative trading volume. Its total value locked (TVL) stands at $84 million, with an annualized revenue of $14 million.
The company has been expanding its offerings, with multiple new products in development. Bluefin Spot, launched three months ago, has already seen over $80 million in deposits and $4.2 billion in trading volume. Additional features, including BluefinX and a liquidity aggregator, are scheduled for release in the coming weeks. A new version of its spot trading platform is also expected soon. Meanwhile, Bluefin Pro, designed for advanced traders, is projected to scale liquidity by at least five times.
