Messari provides market intelligence that drives high-conviction participation in the crypto economy.
According to a news statement, Brevan Howard Digital led a $35 million Series B fundraising round for the cryptocurrency data and analytics company Messari.
Investments from Morgan Creek Digital, Samsung Next, FTX Ventures, Galaxy, and Coinbase Ventures are part of the round, which was first announced in August.
The money will be used by Messari, which is having its annual Mainnet conference in New York this week, to expand its workforce and create Protocol Metrics and Data Apps, two new products.
"This new funding will help us grow our team, expand internationally and invest in new data offerings and tools that complete our market-leading product suite," Messari co-founder and CEO Ryan Selkis said in the release.
Messari has introduced Protocol Metrics and Data Apps as two additional products to expand its services. Through transparent data standardization, Protocol Metrics gives users the ability to compare assets across many networks and assess a protocol's health, development, and usage. Additionally, users can browse specialized data sets using the recently opened data application marketplace, Data Apps. Data Apps is currently in beta and only accessible to a small number of Enterprise users, but it will soon be made available to all Enterprise users.
According to reports, Messari, which received $21 million in August of last year, is now valued at $300 million.
