Sintra is a socially driven NFT investment app.
With participation from FTX Ventures (the venture-capital arm of cryptocurrency exchange FTX), Chorus One Ventures, CMCC Global, Big Brain Holdings, Two Ape VC, and angel investors Shanna Tellerman, Felix Lutsch, and Anthony Beaumont, Sintra, the socially powered NFT investment app, has closed a $2 million USD seed funding round.
The financing will be used to speed up product testing and the creation of additional in-app capabilities, as well as to propel extensive hiring and marketing initiatives that are connected to Sintra's robust backlog of work.
Sintra also revealed the debut of its first Minimum Viable Product (MVP), a ground-breaking new social network for NFT investors with analytics, community management, and messaging tools that will unite like-minded investors to create strategies that would benefit both parties. On a larger scale, Sintra connects NFT investors, enabling fractional ownership of the most sought-after assets and offering customised investment options based on users' areas of interest. Users can now view NFT collections directly in the Sintra marketplace and "respond" with emojis with bullish or bearish themes.
The announcement comes as Sintra announces several notable additions to its advisory board, including Jeremy Beaufils, a seasoned blockchain consultant and former head of Google's APAC Social Lab; Ryan Inman and Catherine Carroll, co-founders of LandVault, Ready Player DAO, and LifeForce Games; and Shanna Tellerman, co-founder of Modsy and a former partner at Google Ventures.
The new Advisors will collaborate with Sintra's C-suite team, including CEO and co-founder Angel Ceballos (formerly the Product Design Lead at Meta and ex-Amazon), co-founder and CTO Jeffrey Bian (previously the Software Architect at Rally), and COO Alan Jackson, to provide strategic advice (Technical Program Manager at Google).
